Controller Design in <i>αβ</i> domain for Grid-Forming Inverters by Complex Vector Theory

Grid-forming inverter control plays an important role in ensuring frequency and voltage stability a microgrid (MG). This paper proposes novel power the αβ domain. The proposed method includes two loops; outer loop for droop inner output control. With controller, active reactive powers can be controlled according to simple complex principles described only αβ-domain. Controller gain tuning both regulator is also proposed; gains are tuned based on transfer functions around operating point by linear quadratic (LQR). investigated validated simulations with C program experiments DSP-based digital system.
